There is purpose in your hands. What is purpose? Purpose is the reason why something exist. The purpose of a thing is determined by the maker. Your purpose is why you exist. Your purpose is the reason why you are on earth. Purpose is what you are wired for. Purpose is your end from the beginning. 

Christ purpose is the reason for which we are brought into the Kingdom. The book of Isaiah talks about how Christ was made known on this earth. In the book of Revelation, it was revealed that Christ was the Lamb which was slain from the foundation of the earth. His purpose was determined at the beginning; God sees the end from the beginning. Christ was made known from the beginning. 

Christ knew what He existed for. 1 John 3:8 says, “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” The reason why Christ was made known was to destroy the works of the devil. To destroy the work of the devil means to undo the work which the devil came to do. Christ came to the earth for one thing: to undo the works of the devil. His reason for existence was to do the work of the father and to undo the work of the devil. 

In the beginning God and man were in fellowship in the Garden of Eden, but at some point the devil brought in sin and sin separated man from God, because God cannot behold sin. When God saw that there was a separation between Him and man, He brought Jesus to the earth. The reason why Christ came was to reconcile man back to God. 

Christ purpose from the beginning was to undo all that the devil did. God was not taken by surprise when man sinned, because He already had a plan to bring man back to Him in Christ. Christ knew that His purpose on earth was to undo the separation between God and man. 

The bible in Luke 4:18-19 said, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” All these that Christ did was part of His purpose, but His major purpose was to undo the work of the devil. Everywhere Christ went He was doing good things and this made the devil angry and he decided to kill Jesus. One day he took Christ to the cross and at the cross he thought he was going to win his greatest victory. He thought by killing Jesus, he will defeat Christ once and for all, not knowing that God had a plan to defeat him once and for all. 

The devil took Christ to the cross and nailed both His hand to the cross and in so doing thought he had won the victory. By putting Christ on the cross he had put one hand of Christ on man and the other hand on God. When Christ was on the cross the devil was rejoicing that he had won, not knowing he had connected man to God.  

The devil hates the blood of Jesus Christ. When the hand of Christ was nailed to the cross, His blood was been shed to reconcile God and man. If the devil had known, he wouldn’t had nailed Christ to the cross. If he had known, he wouldn’t had put the crown of thorns on the head of Jesus, because from His head blood flowed down to His face, beard and touched His body; the bible said that from your belly rivers of living waters are flowing. When the body of Christ was pierced by a spear, blood and water flowed out. The devil also put thirty nine stripes of the cane on the back of Jesus and blood came out and by the blood and those stripes you have been healed. The blood of Jesus has a purpose. His hands has a purpose.

The bible in 1 Corinthians 2: 7-8 says, “But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory. Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” Christ was not killed for His glory, but for your glory. At the Cross of Calvary, Christ died reconnecting man to God and also on that cross He said three powerful words that has ever been spoken, “It is finished.” He didn’t say, “I am finished.” He didn’t say, “You are finished.” No, He said, “It is finished.” What was finished? The purpose for which He came had been accomplished. Your sickness and diseases is finished. I have good news for you: cancer and every diseases are finished in Jesus name. 

Here is what faith does: faith does not deny facts, faith supersedes facts. Faith will not deny the fact that Lazarus was dead, but it will speak to Lazarus to rise up from the dead. Despite the fact of the situation and circumstances, faith will supersede it, because the blood of Jesus has been shed to give you victory over every situations and circumstances. 

At the cross God and man were reunited, because of the death of Jesus. There was purpose in His hands. Colossians 2:8-10, 13 says, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power* and you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;” The hands of Jesus shed blood and that blood gave us forgiveness of sin. When there was a separation, the devil could accuse man because he had sinned. At the Cross of Calvary, every accusations of the devil against man was wiped out by nailing them to the cross. 

The Cross of Calvary was not just to shed blood, it was to defeat and disgrace the devil in your life. I was told I couldn’t have children, but the cross disgraced the devil, I have three boys now. My mother was told she couldn’t have children, but I have three sisters including myself and we stand as an evidence that she could have children; the devil was publicly disgraced in her life. Bishop Festus Akhimien was told that he couldn’t have children; my mother case was four years, mine was five years and Bishop Akhimien was twenty years, but today he has a handsome son. The devil has no new tricks, it has always been the same old tricks and his tricks will not work on you in Jesus name. He has no new tricks; it’s the same devil, same tricks and he has been disgraced publicly by the hands of Jesus Christ. 

Verse 9 of Colossians 2 says, “For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” God has power. The power to heal is in God. The power to save is in God. The power to restore lives is in God. The power to remove barrenness is in God. In fact all power is in God. For in Christ is the fullness of the God-head, meaning all of God’s power is in Christ. Power to save, heal, deliver, restore, give life etc., is in Jesus. 

When Christ died, we died with Him. When He was buried, we were buried with Him. When He rose, we rose with Him. Therefore, if you live in Jesus and Jesus lives in you, the fullness of the God-head is in you now; it means you now have the power to save, heal, deliver, restore, to reverse every curse of the devil etc. God has given you power over every generational curse. 

Christ was manifested to undo the works of the devil and to do the work of the Father. God put all powers in the hands of Jesus and the hands of Jesus is now in your hands. What the devil does against God’s word, Christ came to undo and that power is now in your hands. You also can undo the works of the devil. If it is an intellectual problem that need the mind to undo, you can undo it because the wisdom of God is in Christ who is in you. It is no longer what Christ cannot do, now it is what you have refuse to do. What God cannot do does not exist. Paul said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Is there purpose in your hands now? Can you do all things? Is there anything you cannot do now? What you cannot do does not exist. It’s not by your power or might, but by the Spirit of God. The God-head dwells in Jesus in bodily form and Jesus dwells in you and now in Him you move, you live and have your being. 

The work was completed when Christ was hung on the cross and blood came out of His hands that was nailed and blood and water from His side that was pierced; so, out of your belly flows the Rivers of Living Water, which means when you speak, life comes out of you. Take your hands and place them on your body or anything that does not work and it will begin to work. There is purpose in your hands because your purpose is to undo the work of the devil. John 4:34 says, “Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.” So anywhere you go, undo the works of the devil and do the work of the Father. There is purpose in your hands. There is power in your hands. There is deliverance in your hands. Your hands are powerful. Your hands are healing hands. Your hands can reverse any curse and incantation and it can make a public disgrace of the devil. 

Anywhere the devil is working right now, begin to undo it in Jesus name. This is what you were wired for; it is your end from the beginning. Your hands will set the captive free. Your hands will open blind eyes. Your hands will save and deliver. Your hands will bless. Your hands will heal all manner of sicknesses and diseases. There is purpose in your hands.
