God Shall Bless You In The Midst Of Recession -Archbishop B.A Idahosa

 

The reason for recession is absence from source. Men go into recession when they turn their back on God who is their source.

When you begin to live by your salary, you will never be satisfied for life. Your salary is good, but the provision of God is better. Tithe and offering is good, but miracle is better.

 

Deuteronomy 28:1-7

1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. 

6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways

 

You can’t prosper without enemies. You can’t do well without having enemies. If you look unto God, He will take care of your enemies. Before God opens the door that no man can close, He will bind the enemy first. The reason why God will open the door that no man can shut is because He will first remove the hinges, so when any man tries to close it, he won’t be able to because the hinges are no more there. From today God will frustrate all your enemies who tries to shut your doors. People often ask me: “Papa Idahosa why do you always have troubles?” But you must know that life is trouble and problem oriented, but God is solution oriented. The reason most of you are problem free is because you are walking in the same direction with the devil. You can’t collide with the man you are going in the same direction with. Those who never collides with the devil are walking in the same direction with him.

The reason most of you do not have trouble is because you are dead. There is no problem in the cemetery. Have you ever seen two corpses fighting in the funeral home? Dead men don’t fight. The reason the devil doesn’t fight some of you is because you are dead. He will gain nothing looking for your trouble. I am glad to tell you that God will give you double for your trouble. God is going to take care of your enemies before He blesses you.

How many of you are really set for an astonishing miracle in your life? Take my word as a prophetic word rather than mere words; if you want to see how authentic a man is, take a look at what he has done. Judge me by what God has used me to do. I have preached to more white than any black man born and I have preached to more blacks than any white man born. I have done more than any white man combined can do, so I know what I am talking about.

Verse 8 of Deuteronomy 28 says, “The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.”  All you ever had before now was worked for, but God is about to pour a blessing upon your life you never worked for. All you ever owned came by request (you asking God for it), but the next stage God is taking you to is that of commanded blessing. This is where I am now in life; I used to fast forty days and forty nights before blessings come, but now without asking. God pour His blessings upon me. I live by God’s instructions; whatever he ask me to do, I do. God shall command His blessings upon you and your storehouse. Many of you have never had the faith to ask God for houses; presently Church of God Mission is involved in several church building projects and God is really pouring His blessings upon us.

It’s time to stop struggling and start expecting. “The Lord shall command his blessings.” Why did the Lord use the word ‘command’? When God sends His blessings by command, the enemy is already removed from the way, so the blessing will get to you whether you are ready or not. The next blessing is getting fast to you whether you pray and fast or not; the reason is because the blessing is commanded. Guess what? Any blessing commanded by God can never miss your home address.

Debts cannot hold you in bondage because God has commanded His blessings upon you. When God’s blessings are released, every debt and financial recession is destroyed. I live in Africa and I don’t owe any man anything. You are too precious to owe any man anything. The bible says, “A good man leaves an inheritance for his children,” and not debt. I once told a woman of God that God will help her to get out of debt in six months and that was exactly what happened and she later went on to own cars and houses without debt. When a man that is in debt pray for you to get out of debt, that prayer will not be answered because he is in debt. When a man that is out of debt prays for you to be out of debt, that prayer is speedily answered by God.

I owe no man. No man is big enough for man to owe, my God is too big to fail to supply all my needs. The reason some of you have nothing, is because you have no needs and so God has nothing to supply. When you wake up tomorrow, pack all your bills and show it to God and tell him, “Lord you told me that you will supply all my needs. The problem I have with this country is that when you have big problems, you take it to the bank, but when you have small problems, you bring it to the church as if the bank is bigger than God.

“The Lord shall command His blessing upon thee.”  Always command God’s blessings upon every area of your life. Believe God for the commanded miracle. God will take you from ‘zero to surplus.’ When God commands His blessings upon you, the blessing will come from the North, South, East and West.

Verse 9 says, “The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.” Many of you have succeeded in the past, but you are not established; from now on God will establish you. When God establishes you and make you holy, He protects what you have. God told me that many Christians are praying for success, but they are not praying for establishment and when they die nobody ever remember that they lived. Pray this prayer now: “Heavenly father, it’s time to establish me, I have succeeded, but this is not enough, establish me.” Also pray this second prayer: “Lord use me for posterity, for children not yet born to remember that I ever lived because of you who have established me.” “Lord from now, I shall be established for your glory in Jesus name.”

Verse 10-11 tells us, “And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee. 11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.” If you are afraid to prosper, you can’t help people. When God told me to build an hospital, I told Him I will lose my ministry because I am a faith preacher, but He told me that the hospital was not for me, but for those who don’t know Him or have faith in Him and today the hospital is standing and attending to more than five thousand people every month. I have never been there for injection or tablet, but the hospital is helping and reaching out to thousands of people and it has become the best hospital in the whole of Benin City. Though I was initially afraid and ashamed of building the hospital, but glory to God that today the hospital is enhancing the lives of thousands of people.

After having a bible school, the Lord asked me to establish a nursery, primary and secondary school and also a University; initially I said to God that it will divert my attention from the ministry, but the Lord told me it wasn’t going to, rather it was going to give extra thousands of men and women the opportunity to know Him. Now we have more than a hundred schools with thousands of people coming to know Christ.

God is saying to you today “And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.” This means that God will prosper you and give you abundance. This means you will have lot of cars, houses, clothing and every good properties. God has so blessed me and prospered me even in the midst of the recession in Nigeria. These days when I ask my driver to go and bring out the car from the garage, he asks me “Sir, which one?” I pray that God will so bless and prosper you in the midst of this present recession. Prophesy over your life that God will make you plenteous in goods and in the fruit of your body.

Where others die, God will give you life. “We don’t die with the dying, we live with the living.” The Lord will make you plenteous in goods in Jesus name. For twenty years I have tried to be poor, but God refused. Some years ago the president of Nigeria told me: “Papa you make God sweet to serve, because of the way He has blessed you,” after this he gave me his bedroom phone number. When I was poor, nobody gave me their phone number. David said, “I have said in my prosperity, I shall not be moved.”

“The Lord shall make thee plenteous.” Take it as a prophetic word. Whatever direction you set your hand shall be blessed. Be creative. Re-establish your life. Consolidate and extend yourself. Don’t hook down, stretch out. Re-diversify yourself. We started with one church, but God gave me men and women to pastor thousands of churches. “The Lord shall make you plenteous in goods.” Because He commanded you to feed the hungry and clothe the naked. God shall make you plenteous in goods in Jesus name. White missionaries use to come to Africa thinking they were going to suffer for Jesus, now it’s a lie; we have proved it to be so.

Verse 12 says, “The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.” Listen to me: when God says, “I shall open unto thee my good treasures,” it means there was something closed. That means where you have not been getting your blessing from God, but through the sweat of your brow, so you boasted of your ability, skill and strength. Sweat is a curse and not a blessing. I used to boast of how much I sweat to get things done, until I read in my bible that when God cursed man, he sweated for the first time.

Your miracle will astonish you very soon. When I was in charge of paying the salary of those that worked with me, every month end I almost had high blood pressure, because the people were too many, but when God took over, money started coming from everywhere to take care of the salaries and the work of the ministry. Prosperity to me is no more a slogan, but a reality. Anyone that comes to my house now doesn’t leave without eating something. I feed over three hundred people every day. Time will come that you will have more than enough food in your house in Jesus name.

When the Lord commands His blessings, no sorrow is added to it. God bless you in Jesus name.
